Basic Maths Vocabulary

Hello guys. I am going to share about basic vocabulary about math. Have you ever learned about it? So, do you know how to write or say it in English?

Okay, Let's see...

1. (+) Plus or Add
     Example :
     3 + 5 (three plus five)
     13 +15 (thirteen add fifteen)
2. (-) Minus, Subtract or Take Away
     Example :
     7- 2 (seven minus two)
3. (x) or (*)  Times or Multiply
    Example:
    9x2 (nine times two)
    2*2 (two multiply two)

4. (÷) or (/) divided by

    Example :

    18 ÷ 2 (eighteen dividid by two)
5. (=) Equals or Is
    Example
    17 + 2 = 19 (seventeen plus two equals nineteen)
    4 x 2 = 6 (four times two is six)
